Pantheons Throne: Lore

All the Lore and Character Details
Origins of The Pantheon Council

In the beginning there was Nyx goddess of the night and Erebus the god of darkness born from the vast cosmos, and from them came the gods who in turn created Ionerth. In a fit of boredom Ananke the goddess of compulsion and the god Chaos created life, and left it grow and develop. The gods fascinated by these new beings cared and nurtured for them making the forests plentiful and the ground fertile. Soon the gods grew bored of watching the beings develop and began to create chaos and destruction, laughing at the chaos they wrecked upon the beings of Ionerth.

The beings of Ionerth realized what the gods were doing, and banded together to form a council, they studied the powers of the gods and soon Hemera the goddess of light and day descended after noting the being’s interest. Hemera offered not help but only to observe their efforts. The titans of the gods noted Hemeras interest, Themis the titan of law and order descended to join Hemera. Upon her discovery of what the beings were doing she decided to aid them, Themis did not agree with the gods and judged their actions as immoral. So Themis created the seals, and taught the beings how to use them. Slowly one by one each god was contained within a seal. With this the gods became enraged demanding to be let free, the beings of Ionerth refused, stating that gods actions have been deemed immoral.

The gods after a while rescinded and made a pact with the beings. The beings would help carry out the gods will, and in turn the gods will no longer cause mass chaos across the world. The resulting union was dubbed Pantheons Council. And it was the council who acted out the will of the gods and maintained peace and order in the world. If they council were to fall the world would be plunged into chaos once more, as the gods will break free and wreak havoc among the beings of Ionerth.
